Is someone trying to convert me?

No! Our volunteers are here to provide compassionate conversation and if you wish, prayer. Our volunteers are from a variety of faiths, and if you wish, you may request one who shares your faith, religion or spirituality.

Why are you doing this?

We have heard from people that they don’t go to faith services but wish they had a faith leader to talk with.

We also heard that faith leaders want to help, and dozens have signed up, more every day.

Are you LGBTQ+ affirming?

We are, yes. Many of us are LGBTQ+ faith leaders.

What if I am an atheist?

We love and affirm you, just the same. We are here to listen and to provide compassionate conversation, no matter your belief or non-belief. You are fabulous, just as you are.

I want to volunteer - do I need to be a faith leader?

To be a Virtual Pastor, yes. To be a Virtual Companion, no!

What is a Virtual Companion?

A lovely volunteer who wishes to share compassionate conversation and, if requested, prayer, but who is not a faith leader. To volunteer to be a Virtual Companion, please fill out our form - and know how wonderful you are!
